The list does not distinguish between reggae and African pop music. Only the origin can give clues about the style. However, note that some African artists perform only reggae. Some titles have been played multiple times; in such cases, only the most recent is listed. The list is not yet complete; particularly, it often lacks details about the name and release year of an album. In rare cases, I did not know the title of a song.

Notes

Broadcast date
Origin or current home of the artists
Year of release (usually album year)
Bob Marley & The Wailers (BMW) are R.N. "Bob" Marley & The Wailers after the separation of the original Wailers Marley, Tosh, Wailer.
The original Wailers = No official band name. Refers to the earlier trio Marley, Tosh, Wailer until their split in 1974. (Earlier members in the quintet The Wailers also included Beverly Kelso, Junior Braithwaite, and sometimes Rita Anderson, who later became Bob’s wife.)
The neverending Wailers = No official band name, no “real” band, but the name of a similarly titled album released in 1992 by Bunny Wailer and others.
Sunny Ade named his first band S.A. & The Green Spots before it was renamed in King Sunny Ade and His African Beats in 1972.
Before the death of Simon M. in 1998, the group was called Mathlatini & the Mahotella Queens
onwards: DHF #...
Ransome was the family name on his mother’s side of Fela. In 1974, Kuti changed his second name to Anikulapo.
Between 2000 and 2011, he briefly called himself Stichie
Also known as Michael Rose
"Bunny Scott" was the former stage name of William "Bunny" Clark before he became the lead singer of the band "Third World".
Lee Perry's catalogue is somewhat confusing, as he released numerous albums under different names: sometimes just as Lee Perry, sometimes Lee Perry & the Upsetters, sometimes just as "The Upsetters," etc.
